Interação entre agentes produtivos empresariais e instituições de ensino superior para a qualificação profissional : um estudo de caso

Abstract

Resumo: A presença de agentes produtivos locais e o estabelecimento de formas de cooperação e interação contribuem para o sistema produtivo de uma região. Incluem-se no grupo "agentes produtivos" as indústrias em seus mais diversos segmentos. A pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a interação entre uma IES e empresas da região do Médio Vale do Paraíba do Estado do Rio de Janeiro na construção dos currículos de cursos que, potencialmente, preparam a mão-de-obra para estes agentes produtivos. A hipótese que guiou o estudo orienta que os agentes produtivos empresariais influenciam diretamente a IES na elaboração de suas matrizes curriculares e consequentemente no perfil de capacitação dos egressos. Foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa, realizada por meio da aplicação de dois questionários com questões fechadas, aplicado aos coordenadores de cursos oferecidos pela IES e outro aplicado aos representantes de empresas instaladas na região. A pesquisa também pode ser classificada como documental e estudo de caso. Os resultados apontam que a inserção dos egressos nas empresas que participaram da pesquisa é uma realidade, entretanto faz-se necessário potencializar a relação universidade-empresa, com vistas à contribuição dos agentes produtivos na elaboração do currículo, atividade esta que impõe aos coordenadores o desafio de equilibrar os anseios dos agentes produtivos, quanto ao perfil do egresso, com o atendimento às Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais – preconizadas pelo Ministério da Educação. Pode-se considerar ao final da pesquisa que há a necessidade de se criar mecanismos que estreitem a relação da IES com os agentes produtivos regionais e viabilizem consultas que permitam a identificação da demanda real das empresas quanto ao perfil de mão de obra desejável.

Abstract: The presence of local productive agents and the establishment of ways for cooperation and interaction can contribute to the productive system of a region. The industries in their most diverse segments are Included in the group "productive agents". The aim of this research was to analyze the interaction between a University and companies in the Middle Vale do Paraíba region from Rio de Janeiro State to the construction of university curricula that potentially prepare workforce to these productive agents. The hypothesis of this study guides that the enterprises productive agents directly influence the HEI in the elaboration of their curricular matrices and consequently in the profile of qualification of ex-student. It was made a quantitative research through the application of two questionnaires with oriented questions, one applied to the coordinators of courses offered by a HEI and another questionary applied to the representatives of companies installed in the same region.The research can also be classified as a documentary and a case study. The results indicate that the inclusion of graduates in the companies that participated in the research is a reality. However, it is necessary to strengthen the university-company relationship, with a view to the contribution of the regional productive agents in the elaboration of the HEI curriculum. This activity imposes on the coordinators the challenge of balancing the expectations of productive agents in terms of profile of the formed student with the guide of National Curricular Guidelines - recommended by the Ministry of Education. We can consider at the end of the research that it is necessary to create mechanisms that strengthen the relationship between HEI and regional productive agents and enable consultations that allow the identification of the real demand of companies regarding the profile of desirable workforce.
