The human factor has received much focus of researchers and scholars in recent years due to aircraft accident statistics that indicates as the main contributing factor in these events. This article aims to analyze the human factor acting in complex systems such as aviation, to understand the key management models of human error and aviation safety management adopted by the International Civil Aviation Organization, discussing the efficiency of the quality of aviation crew training. The research has bibliography, exploratory and qualitative approach. It was found that programs to manage aviation safety and the Voluntary Reports, FOQA, LOSA and CRM training tools are fundamental to the quality of human resources training and flight safety when used in an integrated and systemic.en
