Quality of work life of professionals in enterprises in the civil construction of the south of minas gerais [Qualidade de vida no trabalho dos funcionários da construção civil do sul de minas gerais: uma avaliação dos resultados pessoais e do trabalho]

Abstract

This study aims to raise levels of quality of work life among employees of the civil construction in medium sized enterprises in the south of Minas Gerais. It is an exploratory and descriptive research, with quantitative approach developed by the design of survey. The sample comprised 100 employees. The questionnaire adapted and validated from Hackman and Oldham, called the Job Diagnostic Survey - JDS, was used to collect data. The data were analyzed quantitatively, using the software Sphinx, and will be interpreted based on the theories about QWL at Work. The results show that workers surveyed feel satisfied in relation to quality of work life. Only in the variable satisfaction with the compensation there wes higher rates of dissatisfaction.
