dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to identify the results of an assessment of the strategic management of a small business service sector of the city of Itapeva, SP. A case study was carried out by applying the Strategic Three Dimensional described by Santos (2014), which aims to identify and develop strategic actions in the organization, with the basement models Traditional Strategic Planning and Strategic Planning Situation. The relevance of the study is the visibility of the difficulties that micro and small enterprises have to institutionalize strategic planning methods, leading to competitiveness problems. The results show that, although not a formal method of strategic planning established, the company develops various strategic actions that keeps it active in the market and that management can be adjusted in some ways to enhance the strategic concepts practiced. © 2015, Universidade de Taubate.
