The present paper reflect on the most appropriate statistical distribution function for results of similar fatigue tests: normal distribution function and Weibull distribution function. That was used a dual-phase steel with ferrite ans martensite microstructures. This dual-phase steel was pre-deformed by cold-rolling with 10%, 20% and 30% pre-deformation. For each pre-deformation conditions, it was used 3 different tension level: 300MPa, 450MPa and 600MPa. The statistical evaluation was made by using 3 specimens, 5 specimens and 10 specimens for each condition of pre-deformation and tension level. Comments are made on the results obtained.en
