Deficiência intelectual em adultos = Um estudo do desenvolvimento a partir da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica

Abstract

Resumo: Este estudo tem como objetivo geral compreender o desenvolvimento de uma pessoa adulta com deficiência intelectual, e como objetivos específicos compreender o papel dos deficientes intelectuais no Brasil considerando toda sua trajetória de conquistas; a história de vida de uma pessoa adulta com deficiência intelectual a partir de suas vivências cotidianas; o processo de fortalecimento e rompimento de vínculos; além de analisar a subjetivação da pessoa adulta com deficiência intelectual nas vivências de seu desenvolvimento. Para tanto, fundamenta-se na Psicologia Sócio-Histórica, a qual consiste em uma teoria que busca compreender o papel do homem numa sociedade em que ambos se constroem mutuamente, dialeticamente. Assim, a Psicologia Sócio-Histórica possibilita compreender os fenômenos sociais e o homem a partir do método dialético social-subjetivo. Participaram nesta pesquisa uma pessoa adulta com deficiência intelectual. A coleta de dados foi feita a partir de uma entrevista semiestruturada com uma pessoa adulta com deficiência intelectual, caracterizando-se, portanto, como uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo e um estudo de caso. O plano de análise consiste, a partir da categoria de sentidos e significados de Vigotsky, identificar e elaborar os afetos que organizam os núcleos de sentido do participante, possuindo em si um caráter construtivo, interpretativo e crítico do pesquisador, para que se sintetize as determinações constitutivas, emocionais e históricas do participante. Os resultados foram organizados em cinco núcleos desenvolvidos pelo pesquisador: "Quando um não quer, dois não brigam"; "Isso acabou comigo"; "Lá vem a louquinha"; "Não sobra nem um real"; e "Eu nunca estudei".

Abstract: The present study seeks to understand the development of an adult with intellectual disabilities, and the specific aims are the comprehension of people with intellectual disabilities on Brazil considering all the nuances in their achievements through time; the comprehension of the life story of an adult with intellectual disabilities through his daily life; the process of weakening and strenghthening of bonds; as well as analyze the subjectivation of the adult person with intellectual disabilities in his development experiences. For such, this study is based on the Socio-Historical Psychology which consists on a theory that seeks to understand the role of man in a society that both mutually constitute themselves, dialectially. Thus, the Socio-Historical Psychology acts as a tool to promote the understanding of social phenomena and man from its social-subjective dialectic method defined on the Vygotskynian theory. One adult person with intellectual disabilities took part on this investigation, and the gathering of the data was based on a half-structured interview with the participant, therefore this is about a qualitative research and of a case study. The analysis plan consists, considering the Vygotskynian signification and meaning analysis method, on identifying and formulating the affections which organizes the affection/meaning core of the participant, and it is based on a constructive, interpretative and critical character of the researcher, so that the constitutive, emocional and historical determinations of the participant may be synthesized. The results were organized into five nuclei developed by the researcher: "It takes two to tango"; "This broke me"; "Here comes the crazy one"; "There’s no left over"; and "I’ve never studied".
