Análise das alterações na atualização da NBR 5419 de 2015

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho apresenta os estudos da norma brasileira regulamentadora NBR 5419, que trata da proteção de estruturas contra descargas atmosféricas, no que diz respeito às diferenças de sua versão de 2005 e a sua atualização para a versão de 2015. Esta norma trata, dentre outros importantes assuntos, dos Sistemas de Proteção contra Descargas Elétricas - SPDA. Também fixa as condições exigíveis ao projeto, instalação e manutenção dessas proteções em estruturas físicas, bem como de pessoas, no seu aspecto físico dentro do volume protegido. O trabalho foi fundamentado na descrição detalhada das principais mudanças que ocorreram desde sua última publicação, verificando quais as possíveis alterações nas estruturas já em funcionamento, em função das novas exigências da norma, e também em função das novas tecnologias encontradas no mercado. Dentre as mudanças, a que mais causa impactos na análise e determinação de proteções nos novos projetos de SPDA é a determinação dos riscos de um evento perigoso que pode causar perdas de vidas humanas. Foi feito um levantamento de todos os novos parâmetros para cálculos, alterações em tabelas e dimensões de estruturas para os diferentes tipos de SPDAs.

Abstract: This work presents the studies of Brazilian regulation NBR 5419, which deals with the protection of structures against atmospheric discharges, regarding the differences between its 2005 version and its update to the 2015 version. This standard deal, among other important subjects, with the Protection against Electric Shock - LPS. It also establishes the necessary conditions for the design, installation, and maintenance of these protections on physical structures, as well as people, on their physical appearance within the protected volume. The work was based on the detailed description of the main changes that have occurred since its last publication, verifying the possible changes in the structures already in operation, according to the new requirements of the standard, as well as the new technologies found in the market. Among the changes that most impact the analysis and determination of protections in the new projects of the LPS. is the determination of the risks of a dangerous event that can cause loss of life. A survey was made of all the new parameters for calculations, changes in tables and dimensions of structures for the different types of LPS’s
