Monitoramento em redes de fibra óptica

Abstract

Resumo: Uma das novas tecnologias que vem ganhando espaço na área de telecomunicação é a utilização de fibra óptica, pois essa permite uma comunicação mais rápida, com qualidade maior e com maior intensidade. Por ser uma tecnologia nova a fibra óptica ainda apresenta um custo elevado para a aplicação em redes de telecomunicação, além disso, a maioria das empresas no mercado ainda não possui um domínio pleno sobre essa nova tecnologia. Entretanto, devido aos seus benefícios, alta qualidade e rapidez, garantem uma grande satisfação aos clientes e por isso tornam a sua implementação bastante lucrativa para as empresas dessa área. Visto que as empresas ainda não possuem total domínio da fibra óptica é necessário o desenvolvimento de métodos que possam garantir a qualidade e a estabilidade nas redes de telecomunicação. Neste trabalho abordaremos o monitoramento dessa rede a fim de garantir a estabilidade e impedir que aconteçam empecilhos e outras dificuldades que possam ocorrer durante uma falha, por exemplo, a perda de tempo em que o técnico leva até encontrar o ponto de falha. Com isso as redes de fibra óptica apresentarão maior estabilidade e menor custo com manutenção.

Abstract: A new technology that has been gaining ground in the telecommunications area is the use of Óptical fiber, as this allows for faster communication with higher quality and with greater intensity. As a new technology óptical fiber still has a high cost for use in telecommunications networks, in addition, most companies in the market still does not have a full command of this new technology. However, due to its benefits, high quality and speed, ensure high customer satisfaction and therefore make their implementation quite lucrative for companies in this area. Because companies do not yet have full control of the óptical fiber is necessary to develop methods that can ensure the quality and stability in telecommunication networks. In this paper will cover the monitoring of the network to ensure stability and prevent them from happening obstacles and other difficulties that may occur during a failure, for example, the loss of time the technician takes to find the point of failure. With this fiber optic networks will show greater stability and lower maintenance costs.
