Mães presidiárias = os impactos do cárcere na constituição do vínculo materno-infantil

Abstract

Resumo: O exercício da maternidade no âmbito prisional é recorrente. São muitos os bebês que nascem e vivenciam as primeiras fases de sua infância na prisão junto de sua mãe. Diante disso, esta monografia busca investigar quais os impactos do cárcere na relação mãe-bebê, identificando os desafios enfrentados por ambos custodiados, ampliando as contribuições da ciência psicológica para o entendimento dessa abordagem. De modo geral tem como objetivo compreender os embates na tecelagem do vínculo materno-infantil decorrentes da prisão. Como metodologia foram aplicadas as técnicas da pesquisa bibliográfica, baseada em materiais já elaborados, com coleta de dados, leitura analítica e redação do texto. Genericamente o estudo demonstrou que o convívio entre o binômio no cárcere está sujeito ao enfrentamento de diversas dificuldades decorrentes da dinâmica institucional regente, repercutindo de modo atípico na interação materno-filial. Em vista disso, a presente pesquisa amplia a visibilidade dos aspectos relacionados a constituição do vínculo entre a genitora enclausurada e seu filho, considerando-os em sua totalidade, ressaltando a carência de saúde mental materno-infantil no sistema carcerário do Brasil.

Abstract: The practice of maternity in prison is recurrent. Many babies are born and spend the early stages of their childhood in prison with their mother. For this reason, this monograph seeks to investigate what are the impacts of prison on mother-baby relationship, by identifying the challenges faced by both confined, increasing the contributions of psychological Science to a better comprehension of this approach. The broad objective is to understand the impacts on the formation of the maternal and child bond resulting from the imprisonment. The methodology applied was the technique of bibliographic research, based on materials already elaborated, with gathering of data, analytical reading, and by composing this text. Altogether, the study demonstrates that the familiarity processes between the binomial is bound to face miscellaneous difficulties resulting from the regent institutional dynamics. This scenery echoes to an unusual mother-child interaction. Given the above, the presented research widens the visibility of the aspects related to the establishment of bonding between the imprisoned parent and her child, emphasizing the maternal and child lack mental health in the prison system in Brazil.
