O Enade em foco : uma análise das questões discursivas do componente formação geral

Abstract

Resumo: O tema desta pesquisa diz respeito às questões discursivas do Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (ENADE), integrado ao Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior (SINAES) e pertencente ao Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisa (INEP). Este trabalho, inserido no campo da Linguística Aplicada, tem como objetivo geral fazer um levantamento das principais características linguístico-discursivas das questões discursivas do componente Formação Geral do Enade das edições de 2010 a 2014, e seus efeitos na leitura e na compreensão dos enunciados desse exame. Especificamente objetivam-se: a) analisar a organização das questões discursivas com relação à leitura e à compreensão do leitor presumido; b) identificar e analisar os gêneros discursivos, suas características constitutivas e o dialogismo entre os gêneros nessas questões dentro de um contexto sócio-histórico e ideológico; c) identificar as relações entre as partes estruturais dessas questões (texto-base, o enunciado-problema e subitens), considerando a sua contribuição para o leitor e d) identificar e analisar as habilidades e competências gerais, estabelecidas pelos documentos oficiais, as quais são exigidas nas etapas de leitura das questões discursivas desse exame. Os pressupostos teóricos desta pesquisa tiveram respaldo nas concepções de leitura, nas abordagens sobre habilidades e competências leitoras e no conceito bakhtiniano de dialogismo e de gênero discursivo. Os documentos legais nos quais esta pesquisa também se fundamentou foram as legislações pertinentes sobre o Enade. O corpus desta pesquisa constitui-se de questões discursivas do componente de Formação Geral 1 e 2 retiradas de cinco provas das edições de 2010 a 2014, totalizando dez questões. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho descritivo-interpretativo. Os enunciados foram analisados qualitativamente com base nas fundamentações teóricas e documentos institucionais. Conclui-se que a composição dos enunciados das questões discursivas do Enade apresentou uso frequente de critérios linguístico-discursivos que direcionaram a leitura de questões complexas, ambíguas, desproporcionais e subjetivas, sustentadas por gêneros não autênticos. Caberia ao graduado não só inferir que são fragmentos e relacioná-los à realidade discursiva mas ter responsabilidade quanto às questões éticas e sociais.

Abstract: The subject of this research focuses on discursive questions of the National Exam of Undergraduate Performance [ENADE], incorporated into the National System for the Evaluation of Higher Education [SINAES] and that belongs to the National Institute of Studies and Research [INEP]. This research, that is inserted in the Applied Linguistics study area, has as geneal purpose to get the main linguistic-discursive characteristics present in the discursive questions of the component General Formation of ENADE that happened from 2010 to 2014, e and its effects on reading and understanding the statements of this exam. The specific objectives are: a) To analyze the organization of the discursive questions regarding the reading and the understanding of the presumed reader; b) to identify and analyze the discursive genres, their constitutive characteristics and the dialogism between the genres in these questions within a socio-historical and ideological context; c) to Identify the relationships between the structural parts of these issues (base text, problem-statement and subitems), according to their contribution to the reader and d) to Identify and analyze the general skills and competences established by the official documents, which are required in the reading stages of the discursive questions of this exam. The theoretical assumptions of this research has been supported by the reading conceptions, by approaches to reading skills and competences and by the bakhtinian concepts of dialogism and discursive genre. This research also was based on the relevant legal Enade documents. The research corpus consists of the discursive questions present in the component Formação Geral 1 and 2 which were taken from five exams of the editions from 2010 to 2014, totalizing ten questions. It is a descriptive-interpretative research. The statements were analyzed qualitatively based on the theoretical concepts and legal documents. It is conclued that the composition of Enade’s discursive questions frequently used linguistic-discursive criteria that directed the reading of complex, ambiguous, disproportionate and subjective questions, supported by non-authentic genres. It would be up to the graduate not only to infer are fragments and to relate them to the discursive reality but to have responsibility as to the ethical and social questions.
