Formação técnica e a inserção do jovem e adulto no mercado de trabalho : estudo na cidade de Guaratinguetá

Abstract

Resumo: Os contextos sociais e econômicos sob os quais se desenha a educação passam por constantes transformações por causa de vários aspectos que permeiam a profissionalização dos estudantes. Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar a formação técnica dos jovens e adultos dos cursos Técnicos em Administração de Empresa, Comunicação Visual, Eletromecânica, Mecânica, Informática e Segurança do Trabalho da Escola Técnica Prof. Alfredo de Barros Santos, localizada na cidade de Guaratinguetá -SP e a perspectiva do seu desenvolvimento profissional, com posterior inclusão no mercado de trabalho. O problema consiste em verificar as espectativas dos alunos, jovens e adultos, quanto à sua formação técnica profissionalizante e comparar tais expectativas com a realidade do egresso em sua inserção no mercado de trabalho. Quanto ao método, optou-se por uma pesquisa exploratória desenvolvida com delineamento documental e de campo. Na coleta de dados utilizaram-se questionários com perguntas fechadas, aplicados em uma amostra por acessibilidade composta por estudantes dos cursos técnicos supracitados pertencentes à ETEC de Guaratinguetá (SP), assim como a profissionais técnicos já formados nessa Instituição pública. Também se analisaram que descrevem os cursos técnicos e o seu projeto pedagógico. Compõem a amostra 330 alunos matriculados no último módulo dos cursos técnicos supracitados e 313 egressos, totalizando 643 pessoas que responderam aos questionários. Os resultados obtidos revelam a relação do ensino técnico profissionalizante da Instituição com o mercado de trabalho da cidade de Guaratinguetá e também de cidades vizinhas e significativas perspectivas profissionais daqueles que se formam nos referidos cursos. Espera-se que a presente pesquisa contribua para a compreensão da relação entre o ensino técnico, o mercado de trabalho na cidade de Guaratinguetá e a promoção do desenvolvimento local e regional.

Abstract: The social and economic contexts in which is designed the education under constant transformations due to several aspects that permeate the professionalization of students. This dissertation aims to analyze the technical training of young people and adults of technical courses in Business Administration, Visual Communication, Electromechanics, Mechanics, Computor Science and Labor Safety in the Technical School 'Prof. Alfredo de Barros Santos', located in Guaratinguetá and the professional development perspective with subsequent inclusion in the labor market.The problem was to verify the expectations of the students in relation to their vocational and technical training with subsequent inclusion in the labor market and to compare those expectations wirh the reality of egress in their insertion into the labor market. As for the method, it was opted for an exploratory research developed through delineation of documentary and field researches. For data collection were used questionnaires with sample questions for accessibility to students of the technical courses above mentioned, belonging to technical school in Guaratinguetá, SP, as well as the technical professionals already trained in this public institution.Documents describing the technical courses and their pedagogical project have also been analyzed. The 330 questionnaires were completed by students enrolled in the final module of the technical courses above mentioned and they were returned to compose the sample too. The 313 questionnaires answered and returned by the same students also make up the sample, totaling 643 students. The results of the research show the relationship of the vocational and technical education institution studied between the labor market in the city of Guaratinguetá as well as in the neighboring towns. Such results also show significant employment perspectives of the students who gratuate in the courses above mentioned. It is expected that this research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between the technical education and the labor market in Guaratinguetá as well as promotes the local and regional development.
