Percepção sobre a evasão em cursos de administraçãono ensino superior municipal em Goiás

Abstract

Resumo: O presente estudo busca contribuir para a elucidação dos fatores que motivam a evasão dos estudantes matriculados nos cursos de bacharelado em Administração, oferecidos pelas fundações municipais de ensino superior instaladas e em operação no estado de Goiás. Entende-se essa como uma questão relevante para os gestores das IES e, as consequências, para a profissionalização dos estudantes envolvidos. Esta investigação, deu-se a partir de procedimentos metodológicos de uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa, bibliográfica, exploratória, tendo como base teórica estudos já publicados e consultas a documentos e legislações. Realizada sob olhares dos estudantes frequentes, dos docentes e dos gestores, associados à observância de documentos e publicações em bancos de dados oficiais estatais e das IES envolvidas, bem como em estudos realizados em anteriormente. Os resultados apontam que do ponto de vista dos alunos os aspectos mais relevantes são: questão financeira, falta de incentivos de bolsas e falta de professores qualificados. Os professores destacaram os seguintes aspectos: relativos a ordem financeira, as condições de trabalho e a vida financeira dos alunos. Os gestores apontaram como motivos os aspectos: o aspecto financeiros, falta de incentivos através de bolsas sociais e falta de identificação. Uma vez identificadas e analisadas tais causas, o estudo contribui para implementação de metodologias que auxiliem a tomada de decisões de gestores das IES envolvidas, fortalecendo estratégias que visem à manutenção e permanência dos estudantes nos cursos de bacharelado em Administração oferecidos pelas fundações municipais de ensino superior, estabelecidas e em operação no estado de Goiás.

Abstract: The present study seeks to contribute to the elucidation of the factors that motivate the evasion of the students enrolled in the baccalaureate courses in Administration, offered by the municipal foundations of higher education installed and in operation in the state of Goiás. This is understood as a relevant issue for the managers of HEI and, the consequences, for the professionalization of the students involved. This research was based on methodological procedures of a qualitative, quantitative, bibliographic and exploratory research, having as theoretical basis already published studies and consultations with documents and legislation. It is carried out under the eyes of frequent students, teachers and managers, associated to the observance of documents and publications in official state databases and the HEIs involved, as well as in previous studies. The results point out that from the students' point of view the most relevant aspects are: financial question, lack of scholarship incentives and lack of qualified teachers. The teachers emphasized the following aspects: regarding the financial order, the working conditions and the financial life of the students. The managers pointed to the aspects: the financial aspect, lack of incentives through social grants and lack of identification with the course. Once these causes have been identified and analyzed, the study contributes to the implementation of methodologies that help the decision-making of the managers of the HEIs involved, strengthening strategies that aim at the maintenance and permanence of the students in the baccalaureate courses in Administration offered by the municipal foundations of higher education , established and in operation in the state of Goiás.
