Creative Economy as an alternative to the development in São José do Barreiro - SP [Economia Criativa como alternativa para o desenvolvimento em São José do Barreiro - SP]

Abstract

The creative economy is born as a profitable activity proposed by the innovation and the creative ideas. This article aims to point the Creative Economy contribution to the development in the municipality of São José do Barreiro, São Paulo State. The research is characterized as exploratory, qualitative approach, bibliographical and documentary design. The findings have revealed that this lack of information makes it difficult to identify the opportunities for the development of creative endeavors. It still stands out the need to articulate and the encouragement to those enterprises which are low cost and able to contribute to the development process in the municipality as in São José do Barreiro.
