dc.description.abstractThe credit market is a source of funds for micro, small and medium enterprises, what means a strong inducer of increased production on a national scale. This market consists of financial institutions typically of financing, classified by Commercial banks and BNDES. The Central Bank requires that the financial institutions are suppliers of financial resources to the trade, the industry and the services companies. The suppliers Financial Institutions of resources have the role of financial intermediaries between the surplus and deficit economic agents. The financial transactions, conducted in the credit market, have the purpose of giving conditions for maintaining current expenses or investments in micro, small and medium enterprises. Therefore, the credit market is the great importance for the economy as a whole, because it allows the transformation of unnecessary resources in productive funds and, mainly, it increases the level of satisfaction and well-being of businessmen, it is possible to perform investments or to meet the momentary needs of the cash flow. And, by a qualitative and bibliographic research from the BNDES and the National Financial System data it is possible to point out the positive points of credit lines offered by the Financial Institutions, through financial intermediation, it provides the efficient functioning of the financial market that is fundamental to the growth of modern economies.en
