Title: | The importance of organizational climate survey for the functioning of a federal institution of higher education |

Abstract: | This work aims to present an analysis of the organizational climate of a campus of a federal institution of higher education within the State of Rio de Janeiro, in order to identify the factors that interfere in the motivation and performance of technical-administrative servers. The bibliographic survey and field research, exploratory in nature were the methodological procedures used. For data collection was used a questionnaire with 72 issues closed, having been applied to 30 technical and administrative servers. Were presented in this research the concepts of organizational climate and organizational climate survey. At the end, sought to present a diagnosis of organizational climate of institution studied. Among the results highlight the training and development, indicating a need for actions which present the information necessary for the exercise of the Office properly, through capacity building and ambiance at the headquarters of the educational institution. |
