Structural analysis of the municipality of mineiros / go for implantation of the digital

Abstract

This work analyzes the existing and necessary structures within the scope of the municipal public management to carry out the implementation of the Digital City in Mineiros - Goias. As a methodological procedure a descriptive, qualitative documentary and field research was carried out. The managers responsible for the area of IT of the municipality were interviewed and analyzed documents made available by the city hall, in order to identify laws and norms regarding the implantation. This study proves the potential for the implementation of the Digital City, favored by having installed several devices and technological resources. According to the report of the managers in the interviews, there is interest for the implementation of the Digital City, although in the documents surveyed no laws or norms on the subject were found. ICTs are essential tools to increase the participation of society in public management and its application provides an improvement in the interactivity between these parties.
