A influência da mídia nas decisões judiciais

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho procura analisar a atuação da mídia, o descaso com o código de ética por muitos profissionais da área, e a prevalência do interesse financeiro sobre o de informar e cumprir o papel social do setor jornalístico. Além disso, a falta de preparo e também de vontade em produzir algo assertivo e informativo, optando pelo que mais chama a atenção, atingindo mais público e por consequência permitindo um maior lucro será especialmente focado nesse trabalho. Também vale considerar com especial atenção, a produção midiática voltada ao universo jurídico, que muitas vezes vazia de conteúdo e entendimento por parte do autor, gera uma ideia errada no público que consumirá o que foi produzido, que por muitas vezes constrói apenas com isso seu conhecimento e julgamento sobre determinado caso. Em consequência a isto, muitos princípios e direitos são violados, sendo estes analisados individualmente. Além disso, busca -se analisar o resultado destas práticas no universo jurídico e a possibilidade de exercer influência no trabalho e nas decisões dos magistrados, que contam como uma de suas principais obrigações o dever de permanecer imparcial.

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the media performance, the disregard to the code of ethics by many professionals in the field, and the prevalence of financial interest over informing and fulfilling the social role of the sector. In addition, the lack of preparation and willingness to produce something assertive and informative, opting for what draws the most attention, reaching more public and thus allowing a higher profit will be especially focused on this paper. It is also worth considering with special attention, the media production focused on the legal universe, which is often empty of content and understanding by the author, generates a misconception in the public that will consume what was produced, which often builds only with it. knowledge and judgment about a particular case.As a result, many principles and rights are violated and these will be analyzed individually. In addition, it is sought to analyze the outcome of these practices in the legal universe and the possibility of exerting influence on the work and decisions of magistrates, which have as one of their main obligations the duty to remain impartial.
