Transporte rodoviário de produtos perigosos

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho aborda transporte terrestre de produtos perigosos. Durante o tráfego destes produtos pelas vias podem ocorrer vazamentos e, ainda que sejam eventos de baixa probabilidade, podem resultar em gravíssimas conseqüências. Vários fatores podem contribuir para tais ocorrências e para a redução dos riscos rodoviários é necessário gerenciar e controlar as fontes de perigo. Serão abordados as legislações e procedimentos adequados para aumentar a eficiência e diminuir os riscos para o transporte de produtos perigosos.

Abstract: This report approaches inland transportation of hazardous products. While transporting such products through highways a leaking may occur and, despite the low probability of these events happening, when it does happen they can result in the most serious consequences. Many factors can contribute for such occurrences and, in order to cut down on the road risks, it is necessary to manage and to control the sources of the danger. This presentation approaches the appropriate procedure within the specific laws on how to increase the efficiency and diminish the risks of hazardous products transportation.
