Abstract

O trabalho apresenta argumentos técnicos que comprove a importância do uso de vestimentas de proteção para profissionais cujas atividades têm algum envolvimento direto ou indireto com o efeito da corrente elétrica. Estes envolvimentos podem levar às condições de riscos do tipo físico, que provocam graves queimaduras,podendo levar ao óbito ou na maioria das situaçoes deixam danos que causam limitações físicas e psicológicas nas vítimas. Devido à seriedade e complexidade do assunto estes equipamentos de proteção individual devem ser especificados por profissionais legalmente habilitados, os quais tenham o verdadeiro comprometimento com a prevenção de acidentes , assegurando assim a ntegridade física dos trabalhadores. Os profissionais que possuem este perfil são os engenheiros especialistas na segurança do trabalho; tal rigor profissional é necessário devido ação da eletricidade nos seres vivos e a dificuldade no entendimento e na percepção deste fenômeno físico. Além da preocupação no dimensionamento das vestimentas, todos os trabalhadores que executam tarefas nas proximidades das áreas que contenham eletricidade devem estar cientes dos riscos, sendo é indispensável que os mesmos tenham a comprovação e o conhecimento da norma regulamentadora NR 10. Essa norma aborda as condições mínimas de segurança junto à eletricidade, com medidas de controle e sistemas preventivos.

The object of this monograph is to present technical arguments that prove the importance of the protection garmensts for professionals who are their activities have some involvement direct or indirect with the effect of the electric current. These involvements can take to the conditions of risks of the physical type, that they provoke serious burns, could take to the death or in most of the situations they leave damages that cause physical and psychological limitations in you sacrifice them. Due to the seriousness and complexity of the subject these aquipments of individual protection should always be specified by professionals legally qualified that have the true compromising with the prevention of accidents, assuring like this the workers's physical integrity. The professionals that possess this profile are the specialist engineers in the safety of the work, such a professional rigidity is owed necessary action of the electricity in the alive beings and the difficulty in the understanding and in the perception of this physical phenomenon. Besides the concern in the due sizing of the garmnets, all the workers that execute taskes in the proximities of the areas that contain electricity should be aware of the risks, soon it is indispensable that the same ones have the proof and the knowlwdge of the norm regulatory 10 - NR10 - , in this norm they are approach safety's minimum conditions close to the electricity, with implementation of control measures and preventive systems.
