Análise de um prédio industrial quanto à proteção contra incêndio

Abstract

Resumo: A maneira que um edifício é construído e os cuidados com suas instalações determinam à magnitude de uma possível tragédia. Dentre os vários riscos que trabalhadores correm, o incêndio é um deles. Ele pode ocorrer por diversos motivos e se propagar, gerando prejuízos materiais, ferindo pessoas e até causando mortes. As edificações devem ser construídas de forma a minimizar esse risco e possuir sistemas que previnam e combatam o incêndio no seu início, caso ele ocorra. Neste contexto, há normas específicas que nos auxiliam nas avaliações e que nós, como engenheiros de segurança do trabalho, temos a obrigação de fazer cumpri-las. Este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso específico de uma empresa de pinturas de autopeças perante as exigências das normas. Para isso apresenta a classificação e as exigências para esse tipo de edificação, e depois verifica e recomenda o que é necessário ser realizado para a sua devida adequação, lembrando que a prevenção contra incêndio é um fator preponderante a proteção à vida dos ocupantes das edificações e áreas de risco.

Resumo: The way a building is built and the precaution with its wiring determine the amplification of a possible tragedy. To be under fire is one of the risks that workers have been exposed to. As is usually the case the fire become higher and bring about materials damage, hurting people and even causing death. The buildings must be built in a way to minimize the fire risk and they must have systems to prevent and combat the fire in its origin, in case of necessity. In this context, there are specific rules which help us security engineers, to minimize the risks making sure they are executed. This field research is about an auto pieces painting firm specific case in the presence of exigency of the rules. It presents the classification and demands to that kind of building, and after check and recommend what is necessary to be done for its adaptation, emphasizing that the prevention of fire is an important item to protect workers’ lives in building and risks areas.
