Confiabilidade intra e inter-examinadores da fotogrametria na medição de expressões faciais utilizando ângulos dos olhos e sobrancelhas com diferentes métodos de captura de imagem

Abstract

Resumo: A Paralisia facial periférica decorre da interrupção do influxo nervoso de qualquer um dos segmentos do nervo facial. O acometimento resulta em paralisia completa ou parcial da face podendo estar associada a: distúrbios da gustação, salivação e lacrimejamento, hiperacusia e hipoestesia no canal auditivo externo. A fotogrametria é um método de mensuração de medidas angulares e lineares de uma foto. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a confiabilidade da avaliação de ângulos da face utilizando a fotogrametria em diferentes técnicas de obtenção da imagem. Foram avaliados 102 sujeitos de ambos os sexos (73 mulheres e 29 homens) com idade acima de 18 anos oriundos da comunidade. Foi utilizado um software para avaliação postural (SAPO) dois softwares para estatística (MedCalc e Minitab 18). A avaliação da confiabilidade foi através do índice de correlação intraclasse, com método de intra-examinador e inter-examinador, dos mesmos ângulos e nas expressões faciais como, levantando a sobrancelha e franzindo a testa. Conclui-se que a avaliação e reavaliação apresentam melhor confiabilidade quando realizadas no mesmo celular com marcações no indivíduo e com o método intra-examinador, uma vez que mostrou-se o método mais confiável de avaliação.

Abstract: Peripheral facial paralysis results from the interruption of the nervous influx of any of the segments of the facial nerve. The involvement results in complete or partial paralysis of the face and may be associated with: disorders of taste, salivation and tearing, hyperacusis and hypoesthesia in the external auditory canal. Photogrammetry is a method of measuring angular and linear measurements of a photo. The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability of the evaluation of facial angles using photogrammetry in different techniques of image acquisition. 102 subjects of both sexes (73 women and 29 men) aged over 18 years from the community were evaluated. A software for postural evaluation (SAPO) was used, two software for statistics (MedCalc and Minitab 18). The reliability assessment it was through the intraclass correlation index, with the intra-examiner and inter-examiner method, from the same angles and in the facial expressions as, raising the eyebrow and frowning. It is concluded that the evaluation and reassessment have better reliability when performed on the same cell with markings on the individual and with the intra-examiner method, since it proved to be the most reliable method of evaluation.
