Violência sexual com universitária : aspectos socioculturais e saúde em uma análise documental

Abstract

Resumo: A assimetria nas relações de gênero gera diversas consequências para as mulheres. Nesta violação dos direitos humanos, a vítima sofre importantes danos que prejudicam sua saúde psicológica, física, patrimonial, como também sexual que delimita este estudo. A partir do impacto e desigualdade que a violência contra as mulheres causa, este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso teve como objetivo compreender a violência sexual ocasionada em universitárias. A metodologia utilizada foi qualitativa, do tipo documental, a partir de registros derivados de banco de dados de pesquisa sobre o tema. Nesta perspectiva elegeu-se um registro de entrevista semiestruturada de uma universitária, branca, jovem e solteira, porém em um relacionamento sério. A universitária sofreu violência sexual de um colega universitário durante a realização de uma festa. A análise de dados ocorreu por meio de Análise Temática que possibilitou o levantamento das seguintes categorias: 1) violência sexual; 2) comportamento pós violência sexual; 3) rede de apoio e enfrentamento; 4) cultura enraizada. Os resultados alcançados indicaram que a universitária sofreu violência sexual, o ato refletiu em diversos impactos na vítima, sendo eles físicos e psicológicos, afetando diretamente na saúde. Os danos causados geraram dificuldades em lidar com o enfrentamento ligado a parte legal, por conta da não realização da denúncia e por receio do julgamento social. O autor da violência ficou impune e apto para realizar com outras mulheres. Em outra perspectiva houve o amparo psicológico oferecido pela família, pelo namorado e pelo serviço de psicologia, que auxiliaram no âmbito da saúde. O estudo retificou que a violência contra a mulher é um fenômeno cotidiano e pode ocorrer dentro da universidade, contradizendo a crença social de que apenas pessoas de classe econômica desprivilegiada sofrem situações de violência sexual.

Abstract: Asymmetry in gender relations causes several consequences for women. In this violation of human rights, the victim suffers important damages that harm his/her psychological, physical, mental, patrimonial, as well as sexual health, which comprise this study. Based on the impact and inequality that violence causes in women, this Course Completion Paper aimed at understanding the sexual violence caused in university students. The methodology used was qualitative, of documentary type, based on records from a research database on the topic. In this perspective, a semi-structured interview record of a university student, white, young and single, but in a serious relationship, was chosen. The university student was sexually abused by a university classmate at a party. Data analysis was carried out by means of a Thematic Analysis, which allowed for a survey of the following categories: 1) sexual violence; 2) post-sexual violence behavior; 3) support and confronting network; 4) rooted culture. The results found indicated that the university student suffered sexual violence. The act caused several impacts on the victim, both physical and psychological, directly affecting her health. The damages caused generated difficulties in dealing with the confrontation linked to the legal matters, due to the failure in carrying out a complaint, for fear of being judged by society. Therefore, the aggressor went unpunished thus being able to practice the same violence with other women again. On the other hand, the victim had psychological support from her family, boyfriend and from the psychology service, which helped her in the recovery of her health. The study found that violence against women is a daily phenomenon and can occur within the university, contradicting the social belief that only people from underprivileged economic classes are sexually abused.
