Vantagens da aplicação dos conceitos do sistema Toyota no processo produtivo

Abstract

Resumo: O propósito básico deste estudo é contribuir para aprimorar o conhecimento a respeito do papel desempenhado pela aplicação das ferramentas de Planejamento e Controle da Produção com ênfase no Sistema Toyota de Produção (STP), frente aos desafios enfrentados diariamente pela constate busca por redução de custos, qualidade e aumento dos lucros. Utilizando o método de pesquisa bibliográfica, consultas foram conduzidas em diferentes fontes, buscando conceitos sobre o assunto abordado. O pressuposto adotado é que o STP pode influenciar positivamente no desenvolvimento das instituições e conseqüentemente na criação de vantagens competitivas, visto que o mercado cada vez exige que as instituições estejam preparadas para se manter frente cenário econômico atual. Para que isto aconteça, contudo, é necessário que o sistema e suas práticas sejam bem executados, bem como sua gestão esteja adequadamente alinhada com as estratégias da instituição. Assim, este trabalho busca compreender a importância de um planejamento estratégico, controle da produção e as vantagens da aplicação dessas ferramentas.

Abstract: The basic intention of this study is to contribute to improve the knowledge regarding the role played for the application of the tools of Planning and Control of the Production with emphasis in the Toyota Production System (TPS),faced to the challenges daily for evidences search for reduction of costs, quality and increase of the profits. Using the method of bibliographical research, consultations had been lead in different sources, searching concepts on the boarded subject. The adopted estimated one is that the TPS can influence positively in the development of the institutions and consequently in the creation of competitive advantages, since the market each time demands that the institutions are prepared to remain front current economic scene. So that this happens, however, it is necessary that the practical system and its well are executed, as well as its management adequately is lined up with the strategies of the institution. This way, this work searchs to understand the importance of a strategical planning, control of the production and the advantages of the application of these tools.
