Escola clássica liberal x escola histórica alemã e suas contribuições no contexto econômico brasileiro contemporâneo

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho de graduação propõe analisar duas escolas econômicas da história do pensamento econômico desenvolvidas pelos seus percussores, apresenta-se então, conceitos e princípios. Os modelos econômicos como o Liberalismo, desenvolvido pela Escola Clássica Liberal, e o Protecionismo, este pela Escola Histórica Alemã, serão estudados e interpretados em dois períodos distintos da história econômica brasileira contemporânea, o Segundo Reinado (1840 – 1889) e a Era Vargas (1930 – 1945). De princípio, procura-se entender quais contribuições cada modelo econômico traria aos dois períodos históricos apresentados durante o desenvolvimento do texto. O método adotado para o desenvolvimento da monografia foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, documental, histórica e comparativa. O trabalho não apresenta resultados e nem dados contábeis, mas sim interpretações decunho econômico que envolvem medidas adotadas durante os dois períodos brasileiros apresentados na elaboração do texto. Portanto, torna-se claro o impacto das doutrinas econômicas na formação de uma nação, mesmo havendo contextos históricos que influenciam em caminhos distintos. Os sistemas econômicos são peças fundamentais para o desenvolvimento nacional, seja com ou sem a participação do Estado no âmbito econômico. Diante do estudo, as análises cabem identificar e interpretar as demandas da sociedade cujo o modelo econômico vigora, deste modo, possibilita-se o crescimento econômico da nação.

Abstract: This graduation work proposes to analyze two economic schools in the history of economic thought developed by its precursors, then presents concepts and principles. Economic models such as Liberalism, developed by the Liberal Classical School, and Protectionism, the latter by the German Historical School, will be studied and interpreted in two distinct periods of contemporary Brazilian economic history, the Segundo Reinado (1840 – 1889) and the Vargas Era (1930 – 1945). In principle, it seeks to understand which contributions each economic model would bring to the two historical periods presented during the development of the text. The method adopted for the development of the monograph was bibliographical, documentary, historical and comparative research. The work does not present results or accounting data, but rather economic interpretations that involve measures adopted during the two Brazilian periods presented in the preparation of the text. Therefore, the impact of economic doctrines on the formation of a nation becomes clear, even with historical contexts that influence in different ways. Economic systems are fundamental elements for national development, whether with or without the participation of the State in the economic sphere. In view of the study, the analyzes must identify and interpret the demands of society whose economic model is in force, thus enabling the nation's economic growth.
