O existencialismo em A cidade sitiada, de Clarice Lispector

Abstract

Resumo: O tema deste trabalho é o Existencialismo na obra A cidade sitiada, de Clarice Lispector. Como pergunta de pesquisa, temos: como se manifesta o Existencialismo na referida obra? Como objetivos, temos: 1) apresentar alguns conceitos acerca da filosofia existencialista de Heiddeger e de Jean-Paul Sartre, seguidos de apontamentos sobre a literatura existencialista; 2) apresentar a autora, sua obra em geral, a recepção crítica dessa obra bem como apresentar a obra de estudo, ou seja, o livro A cidade sitiada, e uma pequena recepção crítica específica desta obra; 3) analisar como se manifesta o existencialismo nesta obra de Clarice Lispector. Esta pesquisa se justifica por lançar luzes sobre questões filosóficas ainda contemporâneas bem como se justifica por fornecer explicações e por caracterizar o viés existencialista da obra clariceana. Ainda se justifica pela contribuição que pode ser dada a estudantes do ensino médio e superior para a leitura de Clarice Lispector. Como embasamento teórico, aproveitamo-nos de autores como Sartre (1970, 2016). A metodologia empregada será a da pesquisa bibliográfica, de viés qualitativo. Como resultados, temos a conclusão da existência do viés filosófico do existencialismo na literatura clariceana.

Abstract: The theme of this thesis is the Existentialism in the piece of work The besieged city, by Clarice Lispector. As a research question, we have: how does Existentialism manifests itself in the referred work? As purpose, we have: 1) to present some concepts about the existentialist philosophy of Heiddeger and Jean-Paul Sartre, followed by notes on existentialist literature; 2) to present the author, her work in general, the critical reception of that work, as well as presenting the study work, that is, the book The besieged city, and a small critical reception specific to this work; 3) to analyze how existentialism manifests itself in this work by Clarice Lispector. This research is justified by shedding light on philosophical issues that are still contemporary, as well as justified by providing explanations and by characterizing the existentialist bias of Claricean work. It is still justified by the contribution that can be given to high school and college students for reading Clarice Lispector. As a theoretical basis, we take advantage of authors such as Sartre (1970, 2016). The methodology used will be the one of the bibliographic research, with qualitative bias. As a result, we conclude that the philosophical bias of existentialism exists in Claricean literature.
