Pronomes relativos : um estudo de ocorrências em publicações no Facebook.

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho de pesquisa aplicada de base interpretativista, cujo tema são os pronomes relativos da língua portuguesa, buscou verificar a ocorrência de tais pronomes em publicações na rede social mais comumente utilizada, o Facebook, tendo em vista que esta é uma rede social na qual circulam livremente publicações de pessoas das mais diferentes classes sociais, idades, profissões, etc. A hipótese do estudo foi a de que haveria um grande número de ocorrências do pronome relativo que, por ser este o pronome de uso mais popular; pronomes como qual e suas variações de gênero e número apareceriam em menor quantidade; o pronome relativo cujo, e suas variações de gênero e número, ficaria restrito a pouquíssimas aparições. Outrossim, eram esperadas diversas ocorrências do apagamento da preposição que deveria acompanhar o pronome relativo em atenção à regência do verbo. Publicações encontradas no Facebook da pesquisadora foram colhidas em três segundas-feiras, sendo uma no mês de fevereiro, uma no mês de março e a outra no mês de maio. Os resultados, contrariando a hipótese inicial, mostraram grande ocorrência do pronome relativo cujo, a maioria no padrão de uso popular; os pronomes relativos que e qual apresentaram-se frequentemente; onde e aonde também foram bastante empregados, porém nem sempre retomando a ideia de lugar, como preconizam as regras da gramática normativa. O apagamento da preposição foi bastante frequente, o que provavelmente pode estar relacionado ao fato de que a maior parte das pessoas desconhece as preposições regidas pelos verbos e que podem amiúde se ligar aos pronomes relativos, para que estes sejam realmente empregados dentro da norma padrão da língua portuguesa. A partir dos resultados obtidos, a pesquisadora elaborou uma sequência didática aplicável em sala de aula de língua portuguesa, em situações de ensino do conteúdo colocação pronominal dos pronomes relativos. Longe de pretender esgotar o assunto, a pesquisadora acredita que seu trabalho poderá contribuir para a abordagem do tópico gramatical pronomes relativos em sala de aula, especialmente ao propor a sequência didática que derivou do estudo.

Abstract: The present research in a interpretative basis deals with the relative pronouns of the Portuguese language, and sought to verify the occurrence of such pronouns in publications in the most commonly used social media, Facebook, considering that this is a social media in which publications from people of the most different social classes, ages, and professions freely circulate. The hypothesis of the study was that there would be a large number of occurrences of the relative pronouns, which is the most popular pronoun kind; pronouns as qual (which) and their variations of gender and number would appear in smaller quantity; the relative pronoun cujo (whose) and its variations of gender and number would be restricted to very few apparitions. Also, several occurrences of the deletion of the preposition that should accompany the relative pronoun in attention to the regency of the verb were expected. Publications found on the researcher's Facebook were collected on three Mondays, one in the month of February, one in the month of March, and the other in the month of May. The results, contrary to the initial hypothesis, showed a large occurrence of the relative pronoun cujo (whose), mostly in the pattern of popular use; the relative pronoun qual (which) is often present; onde and aonde (where) also very employed but not always returning to the idea of place, as they advocate according to the rules of normative grammar. The deletion of the preposition was quite frequent, which probably may be related to the fact that most people are unaware of prepositions governed by verbs and that they can often connect to relative pronouns so that they are actually employed within the standard norm of Portuguese language. From the obtained results, the researcher elaborated a didactic sequence applicable in Portuguese language classes in teaching of the content pronominal placement of relative pronouns. Far from intending to exhaust the subject, the researcher believes that her work might contribute to the topic approach to grammatical relative pronouns in the classroom, especially when proposing the didactic sequence that derived from the study.
