Memes em perspectivas dialógica : uma análise bakhtiniana

Abstract

ABSTRACT:This study concerns the dialogical analysis of the concrete meme statement from the perspective of students' reading formation. The research was motivated by the belief that the school has an important role in contributing to the formation of responsive attitude, with students in the position of both reader and enunciator. By fostering reflection on the events of the world and the possible consequent reflections on human life refracted in the statements of memes and their relation to events, the research data will provide improvement basis of the learner in an active role as to the facts that occur in their socio-historical context. In this paperwork, the analysis aims to investigate the circulation of memes on the Internet in response to other discourses. As specific objectives we aim to: work the dialogic dynamic present in these statements, identify the articulation between the verbal and the visual aspects in the meme, verify that the meme is a critical statement that articulates with other statements, responding to them and realize how the meme can arouse laughter by fostering a critique. The data were analyzed in the light of Bakhtin's discursive dialogic theory, with emphasis on the following categories of analysis: The linguistic-discursive materiality of meme and reportage, the chronotope, the concrete statement, the value tone and the responsive attitude. We also present Brait's contributions about the analysis of verbal-visual statements among other researchers. The corpus of analysis is constituted by a meme widely disseminated in social networks, called BELA, RECATADA E DO LAR. The criteria for the selection of this meme was the controversy it raised, as well as its dissemination in social networks. We also collected a report that gave origin to the meme, which was published on Veja's magazine website on 18 April 2016, also entitled BELA, RECATADA AND DO LAR. The analysis has shown that Bakhtin's dialogic theory can support the analysis of memes as a response to other discourses and that this type of statement, because it expresses a great potential of axiological beliefs, ideologies and positioning, can be a powerful ally in the reading learning. The implication of this research is that the establishment of the discursive relations between the statements presented here is not exhausted, this leads us to conclude that much is yet to be explored. We hope, therefore, that this study will inspire new research in the field of education.

RESUMO: O presente trabalho trata da análise dialógica do enunciado concreto meme tendo em vista a formação leitora dos alunos. A pesquisa foi motivada por acreditarmos que a escola possui um papel importante na contribuição para a formação da atitude responsiva do indivíduo, tanto na posição de leitor, quanto na posição de enunciador. A escola, ao fomentar a reflexão acerca dos acontecimentos do mundo e os possíveis reflexos consequentes na vida humana refratados nos enunciados dos memes e sua relação com os acontecimentos, proporcionará o aprimoramento do educando num papel ativo quanto aos fatos que ocorrem no seu contexto sócio-histórico. Neste trabalho, é apresentada uma análise que objetivou investigar a circulação dos memes na internet como resposta a outros discursos. Como objetivos específicos, visamos a trabalhar a dinâmica dialógica presente nesses enunciados, identificar a articulação entre o verbal e o visual no meme, verificar que o meme é um enunciado crítico que se articula a outros enunciados. Os dados foram analisados à luz da teoria dialógica discursiva bakhtiniana, com destaque às seguintes categorias de análise: a materialidade lingüístico-discursiva do meme e da reportagem, o cronotopo, o enunciado concreto, o tom valorativo e a atitude responsiva. Também se fazem presentes as contribuições de Brait acerca da análise de enunciados verbo-visuais entre outros pesquisadores. O corpus de análise da pesquisa é constituído por um meme amplamente disseminado nas redes sociais, denominado BELA, RECATADA E DO LAR. O critério para a seleção deste meme foi a polêmica por ele suscitada, bem como a sua disseminação nas redes sociais, também coletamos uma reportagem que deu origem ao meme, veiculada no site da revista Veja, em 18 de abril de 2016, também intitulada BELA, RECATADA E DO LAR . A pesquisa dos dados evidenciou que a teoria dialógica bakhtiniana pode subsidiar a análise dos memes como resposta a outros discursos e que esse tipo de enunciado, por expressar um grande potencial de crenças, ideologias e posicionamentos axiológicos, pode ser um poderoso aliado na formação leitora dos alunos. A implicação dessa pesquisa é que não se esgota o estabelecimento das relações discursivas entre os enunciados aqui apresentados, e isso nos faz concluir que muito ainda há por ser explorado. Esperamos, portanto, que este estudo suscite novas pesquisas no campo do ensino.
