Resumo: A importância do cirurgião-dentista em ambiente hospitalar, principalmente voltado para áreas como UTI (Unidades de Tratamento Intensivo), permite cuidados na saúde e bem-estar dos pacientes internados, com o objetivo de higienizar e melhorar a saúde bucal e geral dos mesmos.
