A dinâmica do relacionamento entre sogra e nora : uma revisão integrativa de literatura

Abstract

Através da união de duas pessoas, que se amam e decidiram compartilhar uma vida juntos, se estabelece outro relacionamento entre pessoas que não se escolheram, a sogra e nora. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central compreender como se caracteriza a dinâmica do relacionamento sogra e nora. Para obter essas informações foi utilizado o método de revisão integrativa de literatura, por meio da análise crítica e comparação de dados de pesquisas realizadas nos domínios virtuais acadêmicos e científicos SCIELO, LILACS e Index - Psicologia sem delimitar ano de publicação. A partir da análise temática dos 06 estudos selecionados, foi possível constatar que a relação sogra e nora sofre mudanças ao longo do ciclo de vida familiar. O relacionamento sogra e nora continua sendo um relacionamento com desafios a serem superados, tanto pela sogra, quanto pela nora diante dos papéis que ambas desempenham nessa relação. Os conflitos existem, mas podem ser administrados de maneira saudável na relação. Alguns mitos/estereótipos são identificados no papel da sogra, o que acaba influenciando nessa convivência, contudo os padrões de afetividade entre sogra e nora não foram aprofundados nas pesquisas. Com isso, identificou-se a necessidade de novos estudos que abordem esta temática de maneira específica e que investiguem amostras mais abrangentes e com um maior aprofundamento.

Abstract: Through the union of two people, who love each other and decided to share a life together, another relationship is established between people who did not choose, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The main objective of this work is to understand how the dynamics of the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship are characterized. To obtain this information, the method of integrative literature review was used, through the critical analysis and comparison of research data carried out in the academic and scientific virtual domains SCIELO, LILACS and Index - Psicologia without delimiting the year of publication. From the thematic analysis of the 06 selected studies, it was possible to verify that the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship changes throughout the family life cycle. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship remains a relationship with challenges to be overcome, both by the mother-in-law and by the daughter-in-law in view of the roles that both play in this relationship. Conflicts exist, but they can be managed in a healthy way in the relationship. Some myths / stereotypes are identified in the role of the mother-in-law, which ends up influencing this coexistence, however the patterns of affection between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were not further investigated. Thus, the need for new studies that address this topic in a specific way and that investigate more comprehensive samples and with greater depth was identified.
