Um estudo sobre temas transversais e o uso de tecnologias no ensino médio integrado ao ensino técnico

Abstract

Resumo: Esta pesquisa ancora-se no referencial teórico que concerne os estudos sobre o Currículo e a Interdisciplinaridade, a partir de uma perspectiva crítica da construção do conhecimento e da seleção dos conteúdos curriculares. Compreende que o exercício da docência ampara-se em processos de aprendizagens colaborativas e constantes que precisam considerar o contexto tecnológico vivenciado, bem como o que dizem e anseiam os estudantes. Realizada em uma Instituição de Ensino Privada, pertencente a um município da região metropolitana de São Paulo, essa pesquisa teve como objetivo compreender quais Temas Transversais alunos e professores do Ensino Médio Integrado ao Ensino Técnico diagnosticam como carentes de um trabalho mais intencional na escola, bem como permitir que os próprios alunos, voluntários na investigação, construam um ambiente virtual em que os temas possam ser trabalhados. Participaram como sujeitos dessa pesquisa, inicialmente, duzentos e quarenta alunos e treze professores, e, em um segundo momento, seis alunos voluntários que durante a coleta de dados estavam cursando o 2º e/ou 3º ano do Curso Técnico em Informática e já tinham participado da disciplina Tecnologia Web. Divididos em dois grupos planejaram, construíram e executaram um site sobre dois dos Temas Transversais mais votados, a saber: educação sexual e bullying. Após a implantação, os alunos que o construíram o site, participaram de um encontro de Grupo Focal, relatando a experiência de ter participado desse processo e a percepção sobre a realização do trabalho, considerando a dimensão curricular dos Temas Transversais, o uso de tecnologias nos processos de aprendizagem e a importância do trabalho em equipe, a partir de uma perspectiva colaborativa. Os resultados demonstraram que o corpo discente considera como necessárias, porém não trabalhados na escola, as temáticas da orientação sexual e bullying. O material produzido apontou que possuem conhecimento conceitual sobre o que dizem e os reproduzem nos materiais elaborados. Ao relatarem a experiência, apontaram que os temas trabalhados fazem parte do cotidiano e, por isso, precisam ser trabalhados no currículo.

Abstract: This study is anchored in the theoretical reference that studies the Curriculum and Interdisciplinarity, from a critical perspective of the construction of the knowledge and selection of curricular contents. It understands that the exercise of teaching relies on processes of collaborative and constant learning that need to consider the technological context experienced, as well as what students say and yearn for. This research was carried out in a Private Education Institution, belonging to a municipality in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The objective of this research was to understand which cross-curricular themes students and teachers of the High School Integrated to Technical Education diagnose as lacking a more intentional work in the school, as well as such as enabling students, volunteers in research, to build a virtual environment in which, these themes can be worked on. Participating as subjects of this research initially were two hundred and forty students and thirteen teachers, and in a second moment six volunteer students who, during the data collection, were attending the 2nd and / or 3rd year of the Technical Course in Computer Science and who had already participated of course Web Technology. Divided into two working groups, the six students planned, built and run a website on two of the Cross-Cutting Themes most voted by all teachers and students in High School Integrated Technical Education, namely: sex education and bullying. After the implementation of the site, the students who built it participated in a meeting of Focal Group, reporting the experience of having participated in this process and the perception about the accomplishment of the work, considering the curricular dimension of the Transversal Themes, the use of technologies in the processes of learning and the importance of teamwork, from a collaborative perspective. The results showed that the students take into consideration sexual orientation and bullying as necessary, but not worked at school. The material produced indicated that the students have conceptual knowledge about what they say and reproduce them in the materials whose they told for. In reporting the experience of the site, the students point out that the themes that they work are part of their daily life and therefore need to be worked in the curriculum.
