Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo geral deste trabalho é mostrar a importância da integração do Cirurgião Dentista na comunidade, pois muitas pessoas, infelizmente, não têm acesso com facilidade aos serviços de saúde e muito menos serviços odontológicos. O objetivo especifico deste trabalho é expor e conscientizar sobre a necessidade de mais programas que auxiliem na promoção da Saúde Bucal de toda a comunidade, como por exemplo, através de análise, organização, planejamento, execução e avaliação de sistemas de saúde, dirigidos a grupos populacionais, com ênfase na promoção de saúde, e a ida do profissional às comunidades e a utilização de metodologias mais participativas, possibilitam o fortalecimento do vínculo com os moradores, um maior conhecimento da comunidade, e, consequentemente, o planejamento das atividades de promoção à saúde

Abstract: The general objective of this work is to present the importance of the integration of the dental surgeon in the community, because many people, unfortunately, do not have easy access to health services, mainly dental services. The specific objective of this work is to expose and raise awareness-raising about the need for more programs that promote oral health for the entire community, such as through analysis, organization, planning, execution, and evaluation of health systems, targeting population groups, with emphasis on health promotion, and the professional's visit to the communities and the use of more participatory methodologies make it possible to strengthen the bond with the residents, to have a better knowledge of the community, and, consequently, to plan and carry out health promotion activities
