Espaço urbano público sustentável e vivo : proposta de requalificação de Parque Linear no bairro Campos Elíseos em Taubaté - SP

Abstract

Resumo: O presente trabalho consiste em um estudo para a reestruturação de um espaço urbano público, tornando-o sustentável e vivo, tendo como objeto de estudo o Parque Linear Campos Elíseos na cidade de Taubaté, SP. O Parque Linear surge como uma estratégia de recuperação e preservação de cursos d’água, dispondo de rede hídrica como elemento estruturador. Considerando o histórico da região estudada, o Parque Linear ali presente foi projetado para recuperar a mata ciliar em torno do trecho do Córrego do Convento Velho, que passa pelos bairros Campos Elíseos e Belém, onde frequentemente há problemas de enchentes e alagamentos. Porém, o plano não foi implementado e a situação continua afetando o ambiente construído e o natural, assim como os moradores da região. O objetivo desta pesquisa é propor a requalificação do Parque Linear, conservando o patrimônio ambiental existente e projetando novos espaços com equipamentos públicos de lazer. Para compor o trabalho, será feita uma pesquisa exploratória, que envolve um levantamento histórico da área, partindo da análise da paisagem e do comportamento antrópico, visitas técnicas, pesquisa bibliográfica e criação de mapas georreferenciados para o diagnóstico da área de intervenção. Por fim, busca-se obter como resultado diretrizes projetuais para requalificação urbana e ambiental do parque linear, com intuito de recuperar e preservar a paisagem existente e reconectá-la com os espaços de convivência e de lazer da população.

Abstract: The present work consists of a study for the restructuring of a public urban space, making it sustainable and alive, having as object of study the Campos Elíseos Linear Park in the city of Taubaté, SP. The Linear Park emerges as a strategy for the recovery and preservation of water courses, using a water network as a structuring element. Considering the history of the studied region, the Linear Park present there was designed to recover the riparian forest around the stretch of the Córrego do Convento Velho, which passes through the Campos Elíseos and Belém neighborhoods, where there are often problems with flooding and flooding. However, the plan has not been implemented and the situation continues to affect the built and natural environment, as well as the region's residents. The objective of this research is to propose the requalification of the Linear Park, conserving the existing environmental heritage and designing new spaces with public leisure facilities. To compose the work, an exploratory research will be carried out, which involves a historical survey of the area, starting from the analysis of the landscape and anthropic behavior, technical visits, bibliographical research and creation of georeferenced maps for the diagnosis of the intervention area. Finally, we seek to obtain as a result design guidelines for urban and environmental requalification of the linear park, with the aim of recovering and preserving the existing landscape and reconnecting it with the population's living and leisure spaces.
