A importância do pré-natal odontológico

Abstract

Resumo: O pré-natal odontológico é de grande auxílio para uma melhor assistência às gestantes, visando a saúde e bem-estar completo desse grupo. O objetivo desse trabalho foi realizar uma revisão da literatura sobre a importância do pré-natal odontológico. Para isso, foram reunidos um livro, artigos e cartilhas pesquisados no Portal CAPES, na base de dados PUBMED e nas referências bibliográficas dos artigos selecionados, dos anos de 2019 a 2022, sobre as relações entre odontologia e gestação, as importâncias do pré-natal odontológico, problemas odontológicos na gestação e protocolo de atendimento à gestante. Ao se destacar a relação entre gestação e odontologia, concluiu-se que numa boa assistência à gestante o atendimento odontológico é de grande valia, proporcionando um atendimento integral e maior qualidade de vida para a mãe e a criança.

Abstract: Dental prenatal care is of great help for better care for pregnant women, aiming at the complete health and well-being of this group. The objective of this study was to carry out a literature review on the importance of dental prenatal care. For this, a book, articles and booklets researched in the CAPES Portal, in the PUBMED database and in the bibliographic references of the selected articles, from the years 2019 to 2022, on the relationship between dentistry and pregnancy, the importance of dental prenatal care, dental problems during pregnancy and protocol of care for pregnant women. By highlighting the relationship between pregnancy and dentistry, it was concluded that in good care for pregnant women, dental care is of great value, providing comprehensive care and a better quality of life for mother and child.
