Segurança alimentar : objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável 2030 - estratégias identificadas para o combate à fome na cidade de Taubaté e cidades da Região Metropolitana do Vale do Paraíba, em 2022

Abstract

Resumo: Introdução: A fome é uma condição humana que merece atenção, atitude e estratégias para ser erradicada. É preciso garantir o direito a segurança alimentar e nutricional, em quantidade e qualidade, de forma a atender toda a população carente. Objetivo: Identificar as ações propostas pelo município de Taubaté, representado por instituições e Prefeitura Municipal, a quantificação e abrangência dessas ações, para que seja possível identificar se haverá a possibilidade de o Brasil atingir o Item nº 02 dos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável - 2030. Metodologia: Coletar informações, junto à Prefeitura Municipal de Taubaté e às entidades civis e religiosas, referentes a doações, como: refeições prontas, cestas básicas, lanches e alimentos, para atender a população em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Resultados: a pesquisa foi feita no período de 05/07/22 a 04/09/22, com a anuência de 14 instituições em participar, sendo religiosas (n=08), ONGs (n=04), sindicato (n=01) e Prefeitura Municipal de Taubaté (n=01), e as doações foram: 25.880 refeições prontas para consumo, 1.260 refeições para serem servidas no local, 460 cestas básicas e 220 lanches. Conclusão: Os objetivos deste trabalho foram atingidos, parcialmente, pois nem todas as instituições aceitaram participar do estudo; dessa forma foi possível coletar dados inferiores à realidade, porém foi diagnosticado que as doações são realizadas por diversos membros da sociedade. Só é possível atingir uma meta se houver perseverança, comprometimento por pessoas e governo para o cumprimento do Item 02 dos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável 2030.

Abstract: Introduction: Hunger is a human condition that deserves attention, attitude and strategies to be eradicated. It is necessary to guarantee the right to food and nutritional security, both in quantity and quality, in order to provide for the entire vulnerable population. Objective: To identify the actions proposed by the city of Taubaté, represented by institutions and the City Hall, the quantification and coverage of such actions, so that it is possible to identify whether there will be a possibility for Brazil to reach Item nº 02 of the Sustainable Development Goals - 2030. Methodology: To collect information from the City Hall of Taubaté and civil and religious entities regarding donations, such as: ready-to-eat meals, food stamps, snacks and food, in general, to serve the population in a situation of social vulnerability. Results: during the period from 07/05/22 to 09/04/22, 14 institutions accepted to participate in the research, being religious (n=08), NGOs (n=04), Union (n=01) and City Hall (n= 01), and the donations were: 25.880 ready-to-eat meals, 1.260 meals to be served on site, 460 food stamps and 220 snacks. Conclusion: The objectives of this work were partially achieved, as not all institutions accepted to participate in the study; This way, it was possible to collect data below reality, but it was diagnosed that donations are made by several members of society. It is only possible to achieve a goal if there is perseverance, commitment from people and government to the fulfillment of Item 02 of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
