A percepção dos estudantes quanto a aplicabilidade do uso do software Genially para o ensino de História na Educação Básica

Abstract

Resumo: A presente pesquisa concentra-se na área de atuação da Educação, dentro da linha de pesquisa "Formação docente e desenvolvimento profissional". Isso posto, temos que o contexto de avanços tecnológicos provocou profundas mudanças sociais nas esferas do trabalho, da cultura e da educação. Diante disso, busca-se a compreensão de novas metodologias de ensino que possam suprir as necessidades pedagógicas das gerações de nativos digitais, tornando o ensino escolar compassado à sociedade tecnológica. Nesse panorama, investiga-se as perspectivas dos estudantes quanto a utilização do software Genially para o ensino de História na Educação Básica, por meio de um estudo qualitativo que utilizou entrevistas em profundidade com 10 estudantes do 9º ano da Educação Básica, da disciplina de História, da rede pública municipal de uma escola da região do médio Vale do Paraíba paulista. As entrevistas foram produzidas segundo os critérios teórico-metodológicos da história oral após a experimentação do referido recurso tecnológico, que ocorreu em aulas ministradas pelo próprio pesquisador em uma perspectiva de investigação sobre a própria prática. O software Genially é um programa que consiste em uma plataforma online especializada em criar conteúdos visuais e interativos, onde se pode inserir textos, imagens, áudios e links externos; consistindo em uma possibilidade didático-pedagógica para professores que buscam acrescentar as tecnologias da informação e comunicação no dia a dia escolar. Assim, esse estudo pretendeu analisar as percepções dos estudantes sobre a utilização do software Genially como uma ferramenta didático-pedagógica, focando nas facilidades, se promovidas ou não, e nas dificuldades, se encontradas ou não; compreendendo como ocorreu a dinâmica de uma aula mediada pela tecnologia, principalmente no que se refere aos seus potenciais aspectos motivacionais e engajadores, verificando se os alunos associaram o uso do software Genially com o aumento da aprendizagem e engajamento, conhecendo, assim, a opinião dos discentes quanto o uso das TDICs como ferramenta didático-pedagógicas. A partir da pesquisa realizada acredita-se que o uso do software Genially seja uma ferramenta didática que contribua para a melhora do ambiente de aprendizagem, para o desenvolvimento de maior interação e motivação entre os discentes, para o aumento da aprendizagem em si e da memorização de conceitos históricos. Entretanto, destaca-se que, da forma em que foi utilizado, não se observou o aumento da criticidade após o uso do programa e tampouco o estabelecimento de correlações entre o passado e o presente. Mesmo assim, potencialmente, vê-se o uso desse software como uma opção didática adicional capaz de aproximar o ensino escolar às dinâmicas da sociedade digital. A presente pesquisa também teve como resultado a produção de um site orientador para professores, no qual se busca o compartilhamento de ferramentas pedagógicas e o fomento de discussões pertinentes ao uso de tecnologias digitais em sala de aula

Abstract: This research focuses on the area of Education, within the line of research "Teacher training and professional development". That said, we have to the context of technological advances caused profound social changes in the spheres of work, culture and education. Given this, we seek to understand new teaching methodologies that can meet the pedagogical needs of generations of digital natives, making school education paced to the technological society. In this scenario, investigate the perspectives of students regarding the use of the Genially software for teaching History in Basic Education, through a qualitative study that conducted in-depth interviews with 10 students in the 9th year of Basic Education, from the discipline of History, from the public school of a school in the middle Vale do Paraíba region of São Paulo. The interviews were produced according to the theoretical-methodological criteria of oral history after experimenting with the aforementioned technological resource, which took place in classes taught by the researcher himself in a perspective of investigation into his own practice. The Genially software is a program that consists of an online platform specialized in creating visual and interactive content, where you can insert texts, images, audios and external links; consisting of a didactic-pedagogical possibility for teachers who wish to add information and communication technologies to everyday school life. Thus, this study intended to analyze the students' observation about the use of Genially software as a didactic-pedagogical tool, focusing on the facilities, whether they liked it or not, and the difficulties, whether they found it or not; understanding how the dynamics of a technology-mediated class occurred, especially with regard to its potentially motivational and engaging aspects, verifying whether students associate the use of Genially software with increased learning and engagement, thus knowing the opinion of students regarding the use of ICTs as a didactic-pedagogical tool. It is believed that the use of the Genially software is a didactic tool that contributes to the improvement of the learning environment, to the development of greater motivation among students, to the increase of learning itself and the memorization of historical concepts. However, it is noteworthy that, in the way it was used, there was no increase in criticality after using the program, nor the establishment of correlations between the past and the present. Even so, potentially, the use of this software is seen as an additional didactic option capable of bringing school education closer to the dynamics of the digital society. This research also resulted in the production of a guidance website for teachers, which seeks to share pedagogical tools and encourage discussions relevant to the use of digital technologies in the classroom.
