Impacts perceived in income from the north beach/to municipality after the implementation of the colony of fishermen Z-26

Abstract

The present study had the purpose of studying the perceived impacts on the income of the Municipality of Praia Norte / TO aft er the founding of the Z-26 fishermen's colony. The colony was implanted in the year 2005 when it came to represent, manage and guide the fishermen of the municipality. Thus, we question: there was an impact on the municipal income aft er the implantation of the colony of fishermen. The research was of quantitative and qualitative approach, descriptive, bibliographical and documentary. In order to collect the data, the Firjan system was used, IFDM - Firjan Index of Municipal Development, where the income and employment of the Municipality of Praia Norte / TO was investi gated in the 05 (five) years aft er the founding of the Z-26 colony. The research led to the conclusion that there was indeed an impact on income, the municipality presented a growth of 32% in the IFDM - Employment & Income of the States.
