Title: Development of the values and attitudes in the classroom: a possible docent practice

Abstract: This search is about the development of values and attitudes in the classroom. Considering that there are necessary virtues to the moral formation in any citizen, with mutual respect, friendship, among others, however, they are not very used by the docents in their pedagogical practice. The general aim of this work was to propose a reflection about the docent practice that includes values and attitudes as content to be worked in the school ambit, and the specific aim was to propose a didactic sequence with the theme Ethic - Mutual Respect, from what proposes the "Parametros Curriculares Nacionais" known as PCN. This search was based on the PCN proposes (cross-cutting themes and ethic) and in the Vygotsky's theories related to the social, cognitive and affective development of the individual. As the methodology, we elaborated a didactic sequence about Ethic - Mutual Respect to the 4th and 5th graders of the elementary school, valuing the language and games' roles, under Vygotsky's perspective. It's a contribution so, even more and more, the docents can add values and attitudes to their practice, seen as a way of rescue the moral formation of the school, to educate for the life, not just limiting to teach the subject contents.
