Title: Formation of the Brazilian Society and Higher Education

Abstract: This article aims to discuss the formation of Brazilian society and how this constitution brought heavy consequences to the political processes of the country. He was elected specifically discuss the history of higher education in the country. Used bibliographic references that refer to the topic to discuss and analyze the proposed study. In conclusion to pervade all dimensions the reforms implemented, the scrapping of Higher Education was largely due to the acceleration of privatization of education. This growth was made with government agreement on the insufficient quality of education in private institutions and even with the benefit of academic credentials and financial credit, always seeking the logic of neoliberalism.
