O sentimento em relação a não amamentação de puérperas portadoras do vírus HIV : revisão integrativa de literatura

Abstract

Resumo: Introdução: A AIDS é uma doença infectocontagiosa crônica do sistema imunológico causada pelo vírus HIV, vírus da imunodeficiência humana, que debilita o mecanismo de defesa do organismo. A incidência de mulheres infectadas pelo vírus vem crescendo ao longo dos anos, o que aumentou a número de casos de transmissão vertical, passando a ser um problema cada vez mais importante na saúde pública no Brasil. Objetivo: Identificar evidências científicas acerca dos sentimentos das puérperas portadoras de HIV frente a não amamentação. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, desenvolvida mediante pesquisa bibliográfica com base em material já elaborado, foram selecionados para este trabalho vinte e nove artigos sobre essa temática, foram excluídos aqueles artigos que não correspondiam ao tema deste trabalho. Resultados: Foram analisados 16 artigos que correspondem ao tema pertinente à pesquisa, no qual a maioria dos artigos ressaltam sentimentos de frustração e vergonha diante da não amamentação. Desse modo, a mulher que não pode amamentar pode se sentir menos mãe. Conclusão: Conclui-se que o sentimento de mães vivendo com o HIV, em relação ao tratamento e à impossibilidade da amamentação, ainda constitui um grande dilema para todos. Para que essas mulheres sigam as recomendações de saúde preconizadas, torna-se necessário que o profissional de saúde esteja qualificado para a escuta, fornecendo-lhes informações e proporcionando-lhes um atendimento digno e humanizado. Abstract: Introduction: AIDS is a chronic infectious disease of the immune system caused by the HIV virus, the human immunodeficiency virus, which weakens the body's defense mechanism. The incidence of women infected by the virus has been increasing over the years, which has increased the number of cases of vertical transmission, becoming an increasingly important problem in public health in Brazil. Objective: Identify scientific evidence about the feelings of HIVpositive mothers facing non-breastfeeding. Methodology: It is an integrative literature review, developed through bibliographic research based on material already prepared, twenty-nine articles on this theme were selected for this work, those articles that did not correspond to the subject of this work were excluded. Results Sixteen articles were analyzed that correspond to the topic pertinent to the research, in which most articles highlight feelings of frustration and shame in the face of not breastfeeding. In this way, the woman who cannot breastfeed may feel less like a mother. Conclusion: It is concluded that the feeling of mothers living with HIV, in relation to treatment and the impossibility of breastfeeding, still constitutes a major dilemma for everyone. For these women to follow the recommended health recommendations, it is necessary that the health professional is qualified to listen, providing them with information and providing them with dignified and humanized care.
