A educação prisional e o seu papel na ressocialização de pessoas privadas de liberdade : análise de notícias de sucesso escolar no período entre os anos de 2014 a 2019

Abstract

Resumo: Nesse trabalho, será apresentada a importância da educação escolar em espaços de privação de liberdade, bem como sua influência para a reinserção social dos egressos. Tem como objetivo geral, apresentar a educação como ferramenta indispensável para o processo de ressocialização bem como, apresentar casos de pessoas privadas de liberdade que obtiveram sucesso escolar e reintegraram-se novamente na sociedade com plena autonomia para o exercício de sua liberdade e cidadania. O estudo realizado é de natureza bibliográfica de cunho exploratório e de abordagem qualitativa. A pesquisa bibliográfica embasa-se pela discussão de autores da área e a exploratória de cunho qualitativo concentra-se na coleta de reportagens que tratem sobre o sucesso escolar de pessoas privadas de liberdade, com recorte temporal entre os anos de 2014 a 2019. De acordo com o exposto, a ressocialização atrelada à educação é a maneira mais solida de transformar o quadro carcerário, já que esse processo atua diretamente no cognitivo, intelectual, afetivo e social dos detentos.

Abstract: In this work we present the importance of education in places of imprisonment, as well as its influence on the social reintegration of the released. It aims to present education as an indispensable tool for the process of resocialization and to reflect on cases of non-freedom people who were succeeded in school and reintegrated into society with full autonomy to use their freedom and citizenship. The work is bibliographic, exploratory in nature and qualitative approach. The bibliographic research is based on the discussion of the most important authors, selected by a survey in the main national databases and the personal interviews are the results of news that deal with the academic success of arrested people, between the years 2014 to 2019, through an online news search. Through the analysis of the news, it was evident the importance of education in prisons, as well as the impact of public policies and the accept of these people by their own family and by the society to make the school success happen. Thus, the resocialization linked to education is the most effective way to change the prison situation, since this process acts directly in the cognitive, intellectual, affective and social context of prisoners.
