A violência psicológica contra a mulher : uma análise jurídica utilizando a Lei Maria da Penha

Abstract

Resumo: A violência psicológica contra a mulher é invisível aos olhos de quem não a sofre, pois é um tipo de agressão que não deixa marcas físicas, mas sim na alma de sua vítima, impossibilitando sua real constatação. Em sua grande maioria, as agressões são cometidas por quem mais confiamos: aqueles inseridos no seio familiar, os cônjuges e companheiros. Contudo, as mudanças efetivadas no ordenamento jurídico não são suficientes para coibir as agressões. São necessárias punições mais severas aos agressores. O número de casos deste tipo de violência vem aumentando substancialmente. Logo, torna-se imprescindível adotarmos medidas multidisciplinares, abrangendo profissionais de diversas áreas para prevenção e erradicação da mesma. Informar os nossos jovens sobre a violência psicológica transforma-se em uma valiosa arma a favor da prevenção, para que as mulheres não venham a ser vítimas deste delito e para que os jovens não se tornem futuros agressores. Portanto, sugere-se a inclusão da matéria na grade curricular de todas as escolas brasileiras. Disseminar o conteúdo do presente trabalho faz-se necessário, pois garantir os direitos das mulheres tornará a sociedade brasileira mais justa e igualitária.

Abstract: Psychological violence against women is invisible to the eyes of those who do not suffer it, as it is a type of aggression that does not leave physical marks, but on the soul of its victim, making it impossible for them to be real. Most of the aggressions are committed by those we trust most, those inserted in the family, spouses and partners. However, effective changes in the legal system are not sufficient to curb aggression; more severe punishments are needed for aggressors. The growing number of cases of this type of violence has been increasing substantially, so it becomes essential to adopt multidisciplinary measures, covering professionals from different areas, for its prevention and eradication. Informing our young people about psychological violence becomes a valuable weapon in favor of prevention, so that women do not become victims of the aforementioned crime and so that young people do not become future aggressors. Therefore, we suggest the inclusion of the material in the curriculum of all schools in Brazil. Disseminating the content of the present work is pertinent, since guaranteeing the rights of women makes us a more just and egalitarian society.
