A manifestação da violência na obra São Bernardo, de Graciliano Ramos.

Abstract

Resumo: O tema da presente pesquisa é a manifestação da violência na obra de São Bernardo, de Graciliano Ramos. A pergunta da pesquisa é: qual o papel da narrativa da violência em uma obra cujo narrador é em primeira pessoa? Tem como corpus de análise a obra de São Bernardo, de Graciliano Ramos, publicado em 1934. A presente pesquisa se justifica por contribuir para a elucidação de aspectos críticos importantes de obra e pela contribuição que pode dar a estudantes do Ensino Médio e Superior. Os objetivos da pesquisa são: Realizar uma pesquisa teórica como a violência se manifesta e a sua relação com a literatura brasileira. Apresentar o autor, a obra, e a época em que foi publicado e analisar as violências encontradas na obra. Será empregada a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho qualitativo. Essa pesquisa tem seu embasamento teórico em autores como Jaime Ginzburg (2010), Alfredo Bosi (2006) e Antonio Candido (2006). Sob a ótica estuda é possível afirmar que a violência é um tema constante na literatura, e o narrador nessa obra cumpre um papel central que além de apresentar a temática é quem a executa, questionando assim a sociedade e a violência.

Abstract: This study is a research of the manifestation of violence included in São Bernardo, a novel wrote by Graciliano Ramos. The aim is to answer: what is the role of the narrative of violence in a novel where the narrator is in first person? Its corpus of analysis is the book of São Bernardo By Graciliano Ramos, published in 1934. The present research is justified for contributing to the elucidation of important critical aspects of the novel and for the contribution giving to high schoolers and university students. The objectives of this research are to conduct a theoretical research on how violence manifests itself and its relationship with Brazilian literature, as well as to present the author, the book, the circumstances of it and how the book was published and analyze the violence found in the novel. Qualitative bibliographic research methodology will be used. This research has its theoretical basis in authors such as Jaime Ginzburg (2010), Alfredo Bosi (2006) and Antonio Candido (2006). From the perspective of studies, it is possible to affirm that violence is a constant theme in literature, and the narrator in this work plays a central role: not only he presents the theme but he is the one executing it, thus questioning society and violence.
