Professor, o herói Sísifo : uma análise sobre a significação da profissão docente

Abstract

Resumo: A construção identitária sobre a figura e o trabalho do professor é tema relevante para um estudo consciente e coerente de qualquer contexto educacional, assim, nos propomos a estudar como a associação entre o docente e o "herói" mitológico, onipotente e utópico, significam o professor. O tema insere-se na área de concentração das análises e pesquisas desenvolvidas no Grupo de Pesquisa intitulado 'Educação: desenvolvimento profissional, diversidade e metodologias'. Esta pesquisa está vinculada à linha de pesquisa "Formação Docente e Desenvolvimento Profissional, do Programa de Pós-Graduação Mestrado Profissional em Educação, da Universidade de Taubaté - MPE UNITAU, junto ao Projeto de pesquisa 'Processos e práticas de formação', cujo objetivo é estudar os processos de formação docente para a Educação Básica e políticas de formação continuada, na perspectiva do desenvolvimento profissional. Realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa, através de questionário e entrevista semiestruturada com sete professores e professoras de Ensino Fundamental Anos Finais entre cinco e quinze anos de experiência em sala de aula. Utilizamos a análise por Núcleos de Significação, na perspectiva sócio-histórica, para compreender as significações do profissional da educação atuante dentro do contexto atual de relações "fluidas" e descompromisso científico do senso-comum, bem como a influência dialética que tal contexto socioeconômico tem na própria imagem docente. É nossa intenção que as reflexões geradas acerca da consciência e pensamento crítico sobre o próprio papel do educador sejam compiladas em um podcast e auxiliem na compreensão do processo formativo do profissional da educação, bem como tornem mais saudável e produtivo para todos os envolvidos na construção de uma educação crítica, cidadã e inclusiva.

Abstract: The construction of identity on the figure and work of the teacher is a relevant topic for a conscious and coherent study of any educational context, so we propose to study how the association between the teacher and the mythological, omnipotent and utopian "hero" signifies the teacher. The topic is part of the area of analysis and research carried out in the Research Group entitled 'Education: professional development, diversity and methodologies'. This research is linked to the line of research "Teacher Training and Professional Development, of the Professional Master's Postgraduate Program in Education, of the University of Taubaté - MPE UNITAU, together with the research project 'Processes and practices of formation', whose objective is to study teacher training processes for Basic Education and continuing education policies, from the perspective of professional development. We carried out qualitative research, through a questionnaire and semi-structured interview with seven teachers of Elementary School Final Years between five and fifteen years of experience in the classroom. We used the analysis by Nuclei of Meaning, in the socio-historical perspective, to understand the meanings of the education workers within the current context of "fluid" relationships and scientific lack of commitment in common sense, as well as the dialectical influence such socioeconomic context has in the teaching image itself. It is our intention that the reflections generated about awareness and critical thinking in the educator's role be compiled in a podcast and help in understanding the training process of teachers, as well as make it healthier and more productive for all those involved in the construction of a critical, citizen and inclusive education
